Thorns Group are an exhibition and events furniture and catering hire business based in Northamptonshire. With a stock of over 2 million items and 130,000+ sq ft of warehouse space, their award-winning team always goes above and beyond to deliver the best service to their nationwide client base. They also offer soundproof meeting pods and sound reduced rooms as well as furniture hire services across Sheffield and Leeds.
The Thorns brand had not updated their logo in over 8 years, so it was key to give the business a refresh to align with their business growth and to provide an effective and practical feel to their target audience. We wanted to create something that we modern, slick and minimalistic that would work across their sub-sites to appeal to the exhibition and events clients alike.
This strategy permeated through to our plans for the new website design which involved the same sleek design with the incorporation of a clear navigation flow and overall experience for their users. We focused on using a monochrome colour palette – further complementing their new branding, as well as high-quality imagery. This made a real difference to the overall clean and fresh feel of the website. Following on, we enhanced the SEO strategy and embraced the new website with our plans for page creation and optimisation to continue their progress made with the campaign.
The new website successfully captured the ethos of Festival of Bounce, leading to a significant increase in visitors and engagements.
