The Brand.

Lindy Leather was established in 2018 however their leather craftsmanship has been passed down from generations. All of their items are proudly designed and handcrafted in-house in Lawrenceville, Georgia using real cowhide. Each and every one of their products carries the subtle nuances of their high-quality hides, making each item truly one of a kind.

The Objective.

With their high quality, artisan and long lasting products, their current brand mark didn’t reflect their merchandise and brand position effectively. Due to an expanding product line and moves into retail partnerships, it was time to create a comprehensive and elevated identity that can grow with the company.

The Action.

We focussed in on simplicity and timelessness whilst differentiating them from their competition. The solution was a refined, bold and clever mark that utilises negative space in order to create a striking silhouette of a cow in the stem of the L form. This allows for a classic and timeless logotype that reflects the investment of their hard-wearing products. As well as a recognisable icon that communicates the product.

The Result.

The outcome was effective in its flexibility, enabling usage with legibility all the way from small format stamping through to signage for retail spaces, with our British stamp on it for a fresh perspective that sets them apart from American competitors.
