The Brand.

Hartford Ellis is an emerging racing driver building momentum within the motorsport world. In a sport where visibility and recognition are everything, a distinctive brand identity is critical. For young drivers in particular, brand presence plays a key role in attracting sponsors, securing partnerships and standing out on and off the track.

The Action.

We developed a bold, flexible brand identity built around two co existing logo marks. The primary mark is a custom logotype that subtly combines the letters H and E, using the strokes of the E to form a dynamic H. The result is clean and minimal at first glance, yet intelligently constructed to suggest motion and forward momentum.

Alongside this, we created a secondary mark based on Hartford’s racing number, 55. Designed using negative space and motion inspired strokes, one five is defined by movement while a second is subtly revealed within, forming a striking and versatile symbol.

The final identity is confident, scalable and instantly recognisable, giving Hartford a professional platform to support sponsorship, merchandise and long term progression within the sport.
